Love Story music video starts with a man sitting under a tree and they notice each other. She has a flashback of when it all started. They are back in the old day setting. It takes place from about the 17th century, with the big dresses and castles. They notice each other from across the dance floor, he walks up to her and asks her to dance. Then as the song goes on it depicts their relationship and running through the garden to see each other. In the end they end up together not only in the past but the present day too.

I don't think she is proud or happy that she is going against her father but i don't think she is going to stop loving or caring about the one she loves because her father doesn't like him. She isn't proud that she has this associated with her name but she is at the point in her life where she has learned not to care what other people think about her so its just whatever to her by now. And that would mean that her love for the boy is more important to her then having her dad look down on her. Because that is her dad and he is always going to love her no matter what, so even if she goes against his words, sooner or later he is going to come around because he will always love her no matter what.

I take this as she almost giving him the guilt trip. Such as i am here waiting for you, i love you and there is no one else. And all you do is sit there and not show you care about me as you say you do but you haven't proved it to me. She is saying everything about how she feels. I feel like she is laying everything out on the table and just waiting for the response. If i was her i would be preparing myself for a let down because i wouldnt want to aganist her family.

The scarlet letter is a book written in the 17th century based in Boston, Massachusetts. The scarlet letter is something a girl wears to represent adultery. The scarlet letter "A" represents the act of adultery that a woman has committed and it is to be a symbol of her sin – a badge of shame for all to see.

This relates to Love Story by Taylor Swift because the scarlet letter is a bad thing. And possible her dad put this scarlet letter on her. So when him and her are together, people will look down on him and give him crap for being together. Then in her dad's mind he will get sick of everything he was getting and give up and his daughter, than they would no longer be together. Another way to look at it was she was like wasn't good enough for him in her mind. So she was a badge of shame to show off to the world. And he was romeo, who was the guy all the girls wanted and no one could have because she had him but she felt like she would never be good enough for him.

The song is a flashback from present day to when him and her just met. She is saying how she can see him from across the room and he walks up and says the first word of "Hello". Then the song moves along from how the first encounter to the next time they meet and how they fall in love. She next says she has to sneak out and this is because her dad is all against what is going and if he finds out, then she would be in trouble. But in the end he talks to her dad and he gives in. "Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone. I love you and that's all I really know. I talked to your dad. Go pick out a white dress It's a love .Baby its a love story, just say yes".

I do see the relationship between Romeo and Juliet and this song. I see how they fall in love when they are young, but the families don't want them to be together. But in Romeo and Juliet, its both families don't want them together. In the song it's only her family. But they still see each other anyways. But in the end in the song, they end up together but in the movie they die for each other. So you can compare and contrast Romeo and Juliet with Love Story, by Taylor Swift.

Don't you believe in love

When everyone is young they believe in love. Girls dream of the biggest wedding, pretties dress and the cutest husband. The they ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after. But as these little girls grow up they learn the ride off into the sunset doesn't last forever and neither does love. You have the middle school relationships that you say I Love You after the first 10 hours of being asked out and knowing this is the right person and you are going to marry each other. Then you get into high school and you become a little wiser and close your heart off a little more. Girls realize that boys need to earn it and those first hours not one I love you comes out. But then the boys do earn your heart and sooner and later their is a possibility they are going to break it.

The tone of the song is happy but a mystery, like back in high school. Are they going to work out, is her dad going to give in. Are they going to ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after like in the love stories that were read to you as a little kid. Where there is a princess and a prince saves her from the dragon and she then that makes her realize that he is the one. Those are the love stories that everyone wants, but sadly most people aren't going to find their prince by him saving her from a dragon.

These lyrics are very visual. I can see a boy around 16 who knows that this is the girl for him, he is outside her window at 11pm and is yelling her name and she open her window and sticks her head out to see what is going on. Then she sees the "prince" and they both start smiling and they just know. But then you can see the first door open and her dad yelling for him to leave his princess and no one else alone. Then she runs down the stairs to try and stop her dad and as the boy gets in the car to leave she just starts crying and just wanting to run after him but her dad grabs her and wont let her leave.

The refrain of the song talks about the Romeo and Juliet love story of the 18th century. In pop, love, romance culture Romeo and Juliet refers to the ultimate love story about two people who fall in love and nothing in the world could stop them, including their families.
But in reality Romeo and Juliet is an epic fatal death story about lust and death.
The song depicks a love story where the girl and guy are in love but nothing can stop them including her dad. She was also like forcing him to fall in love becasue she wasn't about to give up on him. But he felt bad going aganist her dad, but in the end he was in love so he still never gave up on her in the inside.
